20 of the iDive club, including a couple of guests, braved the rain and went to Combat Paintball near Thetford.
Some had never done it before so weren’t quite sure what to expect, but it was well organised and by the time the safety briefing was over and games explained most no longer had concerns.
The two teams (see first picture) were formed as there weren’t enough players onsite to keep as one team and this was great as it meant you could shoot people you know and laugh about it afterward.
Many stocked up with extras like hand grenades, smoke bombs, and flash bangs to gain an advantage.
The last game was a free-for-all to use up any remaining ammunition, and this saw a close combat exchange between myself and Alan who ended up pink.
A great day was had by all and I think most would go again in spite of the bruises.
