Hi Folks
Today (24/04/22) several members of iDive had a great day on the River Orwell. The purpose of the day was to give Club Members the opportunity to go out in the club RIB to see how it can perform and to get behind the wheel and give it a go. We were spoilt with lovely sunshine and relatively low winds and almost no tide. The group got the opportunity to practise man overboard drill, nudging up to a bouy, figure eights, getting the boat onto the plane and operating in a marina.
My extreme thanks to Martin Royal for his patience and guidance in getting everyone to do the manoeuvres and to Simon Alexander for getting the boat ready for us.
As you can see from the photo, smiles all round.
I hope to organise another day later in the year and will get dates out for you to put in your diaries.
