This was my first dive since passing the Ocean Diver training at Stoney Cove last year, which was freezing cold and had me shivering the whole way home. So, I learned from that, and I was quite warm this time, in my 16mm of semi-dry and thermals, although I did need my buddy to drag me down a bit at the start of each dive as I was a bit too buoyant, even with 18kg on my belt!
The Farne Islands trip was fantastic, with lots of lobsters, crabs and other weird looking sea creatures, and I was completely oblivious to a seal that was directly behind me until Alan span me around to see it.
